Your impact
As a Senior Software Developer on the Core Software Delivery Platform team at OpenText, you’ll be helping shape the future of enterprise DevOps. Your work will directly enable large-scale organizations to streamline software delivery, accelerate digital transformation, and optimize their CI/CD toolchains. From designing powerful new features to building seamless integrations, you’ll play a key role in evolving a cutting-edge, cloud-based lifecycle management platform that reaches thousands of users worldwide.
What the role offers
- A central role in developing a high-impact cloud DevOps platform used globally
- Hands-on experience across a modern, full-stack toolchain: Java 8–21, Spring, REST, SQL, Jenkins, NodeJS, and more
- A dynamic, agile team environment combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration in Cluj-Napoca
- Collaboration with top-tier engineers in Cluj and Israel, working on diverse, enterprise-grade solutions
- Exposure to a wide variety of enterprise tools, giving you both breadth and depth of experience
What you need to succeed
Technical Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Strong background in Java (Java 8–21), Spring, REST APIs, and testing with JUnit
- Familiarity with NodeJS, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions
- A solid grasp of software design principles, debugging, and multi-platform development
Soft Skills & Mindset
- Analytical thinker and effective problem solver
- Strong written and verbal communication in English
- Proactive team player comfortable working in a multi-geo environment
- Committed to writing high-quality, maintainable code and delivering real value to users
