The OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform product is a cloud-based software lifecycle management and DevOps platform. To support its accelerated adoption the team is building new capabilities, along with CI integrations and a dedicated migration tool.
We are looking for a talented software developer to join this critical effort for OpenText.
What the role offers
You will be part of a high-performing agile software development team, working both from the office in Cluj-Napoca and remotely.
Your role will involve actively developing new features and integrations to help customers seamlessly incorporate the OpenText Core Software Delivery Platform into their toolchains and maximize its potential.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with skilled colleagues and teams based in Cluj-Napoca and Israel.
As part of your daily activities, you will:
- Work on new features and integrations being developed using technologies like:
- Java 8 to Java 21, JavaScript
- Maven, JUnit, Spring, NodeJS
- SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle
- Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions
- REST
- Work on a diverse portfolio, having the opportunity to interact with and understand various enterprise tools and how our customers leverage OpenText technologies.
- Take part in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including testing, by driving the architecture based on customer needs and by adding new features
- Collaborate with colleagues with high technical expertise from several locations worldwide
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent with at least five years of professional experience
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, tests, and modifies software features and/or new products
- Experience and understanding of software applications, design tools, and languages
- Understands and is able to participate in the design of software applications running on multiple platform types
- Understands and can share the knowledge on coding, testing, and debugging practices
- Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
- Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English and local language
