Team Leader Mechanic - Bucharest

Do you like to lead a team and work with productions activities in an international environment, at high standards?

We are “GDELS” - a Europe based business unit of General Dynamics Corporation, with products range from wheeled armored and tracked combat vehicles to amphibious bridges and ferry systems, with people all around the world relying on these systems and services – and we welcome you as Team Leader Mechanic GDELS Romania, located in Bucharest!

To perform daily tasks, it is important that:

* you are able to identify specific problems and propose solutions

* you are able to follow the standards and regulations

* you take feedback into account and work with other people in order to get the results

* you own an official certificate as mechanic with diploma (agricultural machinery or truck mechanic)

* you have competent knowledge of English in writing and verbally

* you have a driving license category B and a valid truck driver's license

There is a great advantage if:

* you have 5+ years of professional experience

* you have experience working with military weapon systems and their ammunition

* you are willing for sporadic travelling

Here are your most important tasks, among others:

1. Vehicle and general assemblies
2. Mounting and checking of assemblies
3. Running tests
4. Checking and preparation of vehicles
5. Realization of pretestings
6. Testings and vehicle demonstrations in Romania
7. Repairs and reconstructions of customer vehicles in Romania / Bucharest
8. Repairs, warranty repair work and retrofits by customer service
9. Compliance with EHS regulations
