Your role:
- Design, implement, and maintain the CMDB structure and governance model
- Lead or support the configuration and optimization of Discovery tools (e.g., BMC Discovery, ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, etc.)
- Ensure accurate population and ongoing synchronization of CI data, including relationships and dependencies
- Define and enforce data quality standards and reconciliation rules
- Support integration of CMDB with ITSM, AIOps, and asset management systems
- Facilitate audits, compliance checks, and configuration lifecycle reporting
Your profile:
- Proven experience with industry-standard CMDB platforms (e.g., BMC Helix CMDB, ServiceNow CMDB)
- Hands-on expertise in automated discovery tools and integrations
- Strong understanding of CI types, relationships, and lifecycle management
- Experience in asset lifecycle management, license tracking, and hardware/software inventories
- Knowledge of data normalization, reconciliation, and federated data sources
