For our business partner, one of the world’s largest producers of bricks, clay blocks, and clay roof tiles, we are actively looking to enrich their team with a Technical Consultant (Flat Roof Solutions) willing to contribute to the company’s vision and success.
In this role, you can make your mark in building a new line of business and promoting state-of-the-art waterproof membrane and flat roof solutions. As a dedicated Technical Consultant, you weave innovation into every shingle, ensuring our roofs don't just shelter, they're tough guardians against the elements.
Main responsibilities
- Providing technical service to the flat roof material trade at the branch level.
- Providing service to larger flat roofers & commercial partners.
- Providing training for the product group and processing in all customer groups.
- Carrying out construction-technical project consultancy.
- Preparation of process guidelines and process advice.
- Promoting the required quality norms to buyers and users within the product group.
- Providing construction-technical information regarding the product range and the
- processing of these products.
- Having technical research carried out in the field of the product group.
- Advising on and expanding the range of accessories.
- Carrying out after-sales activities.
- Periodically provide evaluations of projects and process results.
- Feedback of results to Product Manager.
- Making suggestions on improvements, and following up on points of improvement.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and external parties.
Your profile
- Technical University Studies (construction university is an advantage).
- At least 3 years of experience as a tehnical consultant, specializing in a range of waterproofing membranes and roofing products or any other products within the civil construction domain.
- 2 years experience working as a technical sales representative.
- Experience with CAD software.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of English - advanced level (writing/reading);
- Clean driving license cat B;
- Availability of overruns in the country;
- Skills: communication, time management, project management, networking, customer focus. technical training, solution/problem solving, analytical thinking, and learning-oriented.
