Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Tooling Coordinator to manage all aspects of tooling operations, including inventory, maintenance, procurement, and scheduling. This role has a direct impact on supporting production and engineering activities by ensuring that tools and equipment are available, in optimal condition, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the design, development, and acquisition of new tools and fixtures.
Manage and maintain tooling inventory to ensure availability and efficiency.
Inspect and evaluate the condition and performance of existing tooling.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve tooling-related issues.
Manage relationships with suppliers to procure high-quality tooling materials.
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for tooling equipment.
Analyze production data and provide recommendations for process improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and regulations.
Prepare detailed reports on tooling performance and maintenance activities.
Assist with calibration and testing of tooling equipment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Experience with CAD software and tooling design.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Minimum 3 years of experience in tooling coordination or a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Good understanding of tooling maintenance and repair.
