We are seeking a Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Tech Lead to drive the technical implementation, management and continuous improvement of UEM solutions, with a primary focus on Microsoft Intune.
This role will collaborate closely with DevOps Engineers, IT Operations and cross-functional teams to ensure robust, secure and innovative endpoint management across a global enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical implementation and management of UEM solutions in partnership with DevOps Engineers and cross-functional teams
- Design business technology solutions for subsystems, interfaces and integrations
- Act as the technical conscience for the UEM landscape, ensuring alignment with product architecture and roadmap
- Create and maintain standards and guidelines for agile teams, providing technical support as needed
- Oversee operational performance and continuity of UEM services, proactively addressing issues and monitoring for improvements
- Coordinate and support daily business applications within the UEM product cluster in collaboration with IT Operations
- Lead troubleshooting and incident management for UEM-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement
- Identify and implement savings opportunities in partnership with Product Owners
- Support backlog estimation and sprint planning for UEM-related work items
- Develop and deploy new UEM functionalities in an agile environment
- Validate and design deployment solutions for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS devices, including Autopilot, MDM/MAM and compliance policies
- Act as a technical coach for DevOps Engineers, translating complex technical issues into business terms for stakeholders
- Communicate proactively with Product Owners, architects and other stakeholders regarding improvements, incidents and cost savings
- Evaluate new Intune/UEM features and recommend adoption where beneficial
- Develop and implement automation solutions such as PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API to streamline operations
- Ensure compliance with security standards and industry regulations in close collaboration with the security team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in endpoint management with leadership experience
- Expertise in Microsoft Intune, Autopilot and MDM/MAM technologies
- Skills in scripting with PowerShell, automation and DevOps methodologies
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access and cloud or hybrid environments
- Background in large, complex global organizations, ideally with 100,000+ endpoints
- Qualifications in communication, coaching and stakeholder management
- Upper-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2)
Nice to have
- Experience with Apple Business Manager, Google Play, MECM, Jamf or TeamViewer
- Familiarity with Power BI and dashboarding
- Experience working in multidisciplinary international teams
