DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. We started in January 2014 and we develop cutting-edge software applications for the bank’s global operations. Inside the Group we are known as Bucharest Excellence Centre, in short BEX.

We are a multi-talented and multi-faceted team who:

builds and runs projects independently from start to finish;
covers a wide-range of disciplines: project management, IT architecture, business and technology analysis, software development, quality assurance;
masters a large area of technologies: Java, Spring, Hibernate, React, Oracle;
has SCRUM as an Agile practice;
develops applications for Treasury, Private & Commercial Bank, Wealth Management, Anti-Financial Crime, Compliance, Non-financial Risk, Global Procurement;

We are very proud of our 6 years outcomes: delivery of 700 international technology projects and 1,000 software releases for the bank’s mobile banking and trading systems. This includes the Android version of the Deutsche Bank Mobile App, developed in partnership with the Digital Factory in Frankfurt, as well as the development of the award winning NextGen app, which offers Deutsche Bank’s millennial Wealth Management clients a broad range of opportunities for networking and sharing information.
