Responsibilities:
- Write RESTful APIs for mobile and web apps;
- Write reliable, scalable, and consistent code;
- Integration with various types of databases (relational and non-relational). We mainly use PostgreSQL.
- Building and integrating with 3rd party APIs;
- Be comfortable with DevOps concepts like Docker containers, Cloud platforms like AWS/Azure;
- Work in a team and aim at continuously improving your skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building web apps under your belt;
- Proven experience of writing code in any of the following backend technologies: Node.js, Python or Ruby on Rails;
- Proven experience of writing code in any of the following frontend technologies: Vue, Nuxt, React or Next;
- More complex DevOps concepts like serverless, Kubernetes, service meshes, tracing tools represent an advantage;
- Mentoring junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous learning;
- Leading technical decisions for scalable web applications;
- Being familiar and comfortable with the agile development workflows;
- Communicate clearly in English, both written and verbally.
