The Low Code Platforms practice operates as a global organization within SoftServe’s Digital Platforms Group and addresses the rapidly growing demand for low-code platforms such as Mendix, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, and several others.
Our team builds cross-industry low-code solutions. It is responsible for both the development of low-code applications and the delivery of advisory and implementation services to our client base, in accordance with platform design best practices and a defined implementation methodology.
Team members work on the design, delivery, and support of a variety of solutions that help our clients meet business objectives. These solutions range from large-scale, ground-up, custom-developed low-code applications to cloud-based development and integration services, as well as customizing industry-sector-focused packages.
IF YOU ARE
- An experienced Mendix software engineer with 3+ years of hands-on practice
- Skilled in React.js and experienced in developing pluggable widgets
- Proficient in application and case design, data model design, data migration, user experience, security, background processing, performance, deployment, and testing
- Familiar with APIs and software integration through SOAP, REST, or similar web services
- Knowledgeable in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and general Web 2.0 techniques
- Accustomed to working with pre-built templates, visual interfaces, and flow diagrams
- Adept at Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and application servers
- Comfortable in Agile environments and iterative development cycles
- A holder of intermediate level of Mendix certification
- Confident in communication with an intermediate English level
AND YOU WANT TO
- Modify workflow configurations to maximize production and operating efficiency
- Develop application modules and structure for compliance with standards and best practices
- Conduct peer reviews of other team members’ work
- Integrate based on existing Mendix connectors and develop new ones
- Gather business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders and IT management, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes
- Work with the Lead Systems Architect to manage scope and risk, implementation capabilities and limitations, performance requirements, and interfaces for the end-user solution
- Conduct a detailed analysis of functional and non-functional business needs to create business requirements and perform gap analysis between the current and target states
- Define reporting requirements related to general business functionality, non-functional needs, and required data attributes for BPM-specific workflows
- Implement a responsive UI based on predefined wireframes and designs
- Test and debug platform configuration issues and communicate with platform support teams to resolve issues or require software fixes
