SoftServe Robotics Group has more than 30 robotics engineers full of passion and is still growing. The projects vary, we like working in a changing environment and enjoy taking on new challenges. Our experienced team of experts is focused on optimization, modeling, and simulation projects in robotics.
IF YOU ARE
- Qualified with an MSc or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- Familiar with Python programming language, with at least 3 years of experience in software development
- Confident with fluids simulation CFD (OpenFOAM, Ansys, Autodesk, SimScale, 6SigmaDCX)
- An expert in mechanical and structural simulations (FEM)
- Proficient with the discrete element method (DEM)
- Well-versed in soft-body simulations (e.g., clothes)
- Experienced with modeling and simulations of HVAC systems
- Familiar with modeling of continuous, discrete, and event-driven systems
- Strong with simulation techniques and with simulation and modeling frameworks like Matlab, Simulink, Mathematica, Modelica
- Highly attentive to details with strong analytical skills, mathematical, and physical background,
- A problem-solver with an understanding of numerical methods
- Highly capable of understanding, developing, and implementing complex, and efficient algorithms
- Proficient with Unix (Linux) systems
- Aware of testing, Continuous Integration, Build & Deployment, and monitoring of complex systems
- A team player with great communication skills
- Familiar with physics-based simulations –Gazebo, Nvidia Isaac, VREP, etc. (nice-to-have)
- Skilled with Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks (as an advantage)
- Knowledgeable of numerical optimization methods (will be a plus)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Work with digital twins of real systems
- Be in charge of process modeling and optimization
- Design and develop solutions for various kinds of robotics systems
- Build multiple rapid prototypes as well as production-ready solutions
- Test robotics solutions both in simulation and in the real world
- Integrate robots with cloud services (AWS using AWS RoboMaker)
- Design automated robotic systems used to increase the production and precision levels within a specific industry
- Perform regular research on the latest trends and modern approaches in robotics (navigation, sensing, decision-making, the performance of robotic mechanism components or systems, etc.)
