IF YOU ARE
- A Senior Backend Engineer with around 5 years of experience with Scala, functional and object-oriented programming patterns
- Skilled in building and maintaining distributed systems, microservices, or serverless architectures
- Comfortable delivering within existing architectures and aligning to current technical direction
- Detail-oriented and methodical in development and documentation
- Effective in translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Fluent in English and highly collaborative in cross-functional teams
AND YOU WANT TO
- Contribute directly to a scoped backend initiative with focused deliverables
- Develop reliable and maintainable Scala services aligned with team practices
- Guide conversations with engineers and product stakeholders to refine scope and implementation
- Apply thoughtful testing and documentation to ensure system stability and maintainability
- Align your work with platform conventions and integrate cleanly into established ecosystems
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and delivery-focused technical discussions
