IF YOU ARE
- Experienced in REST APIs and manual testing
- Proficient in automated testing tools and frameworks (Postman, JUnit, Selenium) using C# and JavaScript
- Familiar with API technologies, protocols, and data formats (REST, JSON, XML)
- An excellent problem-solver and troubleshooter
- Professional in edge computing concepts and technologies (as an extra win)
- Accustomed to manual testing of provisioning, commissioning, and stability in embedded systems (would be an asset)
AND YOU WANT TO
- Develop and implement robust automated testing strategies for REST APIs to validate functionality
- Design and execute test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of API endpoints, data integrity, and error handling
- Understand the intricacies of edge computing components and design effective testing approaches together with development teams
- Create automated test scripts to validate the performance, scalability, and reliability of edge computing solutions
- Conduct manual tests for embedded systems, including provisioning and commissioning procedures, to guarantee seamless integration and functionality
- Perform stability testing to identify potential issues and ensure consistent performance under various conditions
- Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for both automated and manual testing activities
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in API testing, edge computing, and embedded systems
