Since 1994 when the official subsidiary was first set in Romania, Ericsson has been an essential partner for local telecommunications market players and has made substantial contributions to the industry’s development. From installing thousands of kilometres of optic fibre to introducing the first GSM mobile networks, as well as the first 3G, 4G and 5G networks. In fact, Ericsson is the only technology provider who has deployed equipment for all 4 generations of mobile telephony in Romania, starting with the NMT system in 1994 and up to today’s 5G networks.

Our team of leaders, strong professionals and young specialists are providing Networks, Managed Services, Digital Services and emerging business solutions for local service providers, and also Networks and IT operations, Application Development and Maintenance and optimization services for communication service providers all over the globe.
