We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant for our client, a prestigious firm recognized for its expertise in accounting and financial services for businesses and private capital funds.
As part of their team, you'll manage the complete accounting process for clients, ensuring compliance with financial and tax regulations. This role includes preparing and submitting mandatory tax declarations (Declarations 300, 394, 390, 100, 101), calculating corporate income tax, maintaining accurate accounting records, and providing advisory support to clients regarding financial and tax matters.

Requirements:
- Recording and processing accounting documents (invoices, receipts, payment orders, etc.).
- Calculate corporate income tax, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax regulations.
- Prepare and submit mandatory tax declarations following current legislation.
- Ensuring accuracy in accounting records and reconciling account balances.
- Meeting deadlines for tax submissions and maintaining a professional relationship with tax authorities.
- Preparing financial and accounting reports for company management, providing professional support, and timely manner.
- Assist in audits by preparing necessary documentation and offering financial insights.
- Handle communication with tax authorities, ensuring timely submission of required documents and resolving inquiries.
- Provide clients with accurate and timely financial and tax-related information to support their decision-making process.
- Manage correspondence and communication with clients in the portfolio,
- Continuously update knowledge of legislative changes and apply them in accounting processes.
- A university degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, preferably in an accounting firm.
- Strong knowledge of Romanian tax and accounting legislation.
- Practical experience working with tax declarations 300, 394, 390, 100, and 101.
- Preferably, experience in preparing balance sheets and financial statements.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- VAT Expertise: Good knowledge of VAT returns and accounting processes is preferable
- Proficiency in accounting software and tax reporting systems.
- Effective communication skills for interactions with clients and tax authorities.
