In Management Information System, we ‘transform’ raw data into meaningful numbers, in order to ultimately facilitate the decision making process for the top management and help the bank spend money wisely.

What would I get to do?

1. Build financial information and actionable and quality data for different areas of the bank, in a manner that will assist the Top Management to develop business decisions;
2. Produce and design financial reports with the purpose to enable the business heads to promptly react to the changing business environment, on a monthly basis;
3. Prepare management accounting information in order to capture segment and customer profitability;
4. Engage in automation initiatives of the reporting process;
5. Consistently address data quality issues and search for improvement measures;
6. Efficiently communicate with other departments in the bank, in order to interpret business requirements, to translate them into technical rules and to support their implementation in our internal systems.

Am I a good fit for the job? Requirements include:

1. Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
2. Interest in banking, knowledge related to a bank’s basic products, balance sheet and P&L
3. Analytical profile, with a desire to expand the quantitative and presentation skill set
4. The habit to follow through when pursuing objectives, alongside a ‘can do’ attitude
5. An inclination towards systematic, organized and disciplined approach when taking on tasks
6. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel good command of database management openness towards new technologies and applying innovation to improve existing workflows
7. Excellent data analysis skills SQL knowledge and data modeling techniques are strong advantages
8. Composure when facing tight deadlines Ability to effectively cope with stress
9. Very good academic record with economic/financial or computer science background
10. Relevant experience in similar positions or dealing with similar activities is a plus
