Your impact
As a Billing Representative at OpenText, you will play a vital role in ensuring billing delivery excellence within the Order to Cash function. Your expertise in software services billing, strong customer service skills, and ability to collaborate with key stakeholders will contribute to accurate and efficient billing operations. You will support process automation goals, lead change initiatives, and help drive continuous improvement within the billing function.
What the role offers:
Ownership of a portfolio of orders, ensuring accurate billing and achieving billing targets.
Collaboration with Sales and Collections to resolve billing and reconciliation issues.
Opportunities to drive process improvements and automation within global billing operations.
Responsibility for managing customer inquiries and ensuring adherence to internal controls.
Participation in acquisition integrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Involvement in audits and month-end, quarter-end financial targets.
What you need to succeed:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in software billing, preferably in the software services or high-tech industry.
Strong working knowledge of billing systems and Microsoft products; experience with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
Strong customer service and business partner skills.
Understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP Revenue Recognition.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and train peers in new processes.
