Role description

 

This Senior Product Manager role defines and builds the B2B availability streaming API to modernize partner data exchange. Success is the broad adoption of this reliable, high-speed data platform by global partners. The product provides partners a competitive advantage, driving scalable growth across the company's ecosystem.

 

This role provides a hybrid way of working with an onsite presence of 2 days/week.

 

 

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Defines and steers the product vision and strategy for the availability streaming solution, based on company-wide objectives and market analysis, to establish a market-leading, real-time data platform.
  • Manages the product roadmap and development backlog for the engineering team, following agile principles and data-driven prioritization, to ensure the timely delivery of features that solve partner problems.
  • Translates complex business and partner needs into actionable specifications for the engineering team, to facilitate efficient and accurate product development.
  • Collaborates continuously with B2B partners and internal stakeholders, through structured reporting and feedback sessions, to ensure strategic alignment and champion the product's value.
  • Defines and analyzes key performance indicators for the platform's health and adoption, in accordance with the department's analytics framework, to measure business impact and inform future priorities.
  • Formulates go-to-market plans for new features and technical updates, in coordination with commercial and technical teams, to drive smooth partner adoption and clearly communicate value.

 

Role Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 6 years of experience as a (technology) Product Manager or similar role with some focus on developing high-scale services and/or API platforms for product teams.
  • Able to understand complex technical problems and translate these into easy-to-understand language for non-tech stakeholders.
  • Experience with APIs, managing the full product lifecycle from ideation and design to documentation, versioning, and developer support.
  • Passion for creating an exceptional Developer Experience (DX); you know that great documentation is as important as the API itself.
  • Proven ability to engage in technical conversations with engineers and enterprise partners, translating complex requirements into a clear and actionable backlog.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and influencing skills.
  • Strong affinity with technology; previous hands-on experience as an engineer, or equivalent technical role, is highly desirable.
  • An analytical orientation and strong problem-solving skills demonstrated by the ability to structure issues and analyze alternative solutions.
  • Able to understand and formulate meaningful business metrics.
  • Fluent in the English language both spoken and written.
