YOUR IMPACT
As part of our Software Engineering unit, you will contribute to developing OpenText software products such as our OT2 Platform, an Information Management as a Service platform which enables our developer community in building multi-tenant SaaS (software as a service) applications. Your expertise with Java development and Java-based frameworks will help shape the developer enablement roadmap by collaborating with product managers, developers and cloud operating teams.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- As a Junior Software Engineer - Java, you will be involved in the development, testing & maintenance of highly scalable and secure cloud applications
- Collaborating closely with product owners, system architects and QA engineers
- Investigating and resolving complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks and production incidents
- Sharing knowledge on coding, code reviewing, testing and debugging practices
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- University degree in an IT-related field
- At least 2 years of practical experience in agile software development based on Java
- Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot and Hibernate
- Experience in automated software testing
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems
- Beneficial would be experience in public cloud (AWS or Azure or GCP) and DevOps technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
