YOUR IMPACT
As part of our Software Engineering unit, you will contribute to developing OpenText software products such as our OT2 Platform, an Information Management as a Service platform which enables our developer community in building multi-tenant SaaS (software as a service) applications. Your expertise with Java development and Java-based frameworks will help shape the developer enablement roadmap by collaborating with product managers, developers and cloud operating teams.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
As a Lead Software Engineer - Java, you will be involved in the design and implementation of highly scalable and secure cloud applications
- Technically leading an agile team of software engineers in delivering new features
Aligning with product managers, engineering managers and architects regarding the product roadmap
Discussing complex technical proposals with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborating with geographically dispersed teams
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- University degree in an IT-related field
At least 4 years of professional experience in software development based on Java and cloud technologies (AWS or Azure or GCP)
Expertise in Java microservices, Spring Cloud and Spring Boot
Experience in SOA using web services (e.g. SOAP, WSDL and Restful)
Familiarity with algorithms, data structures and frameworks
