Job description

OPENTEXT
OpenText is a global leader in information management, where innovation, creativity, and collaboration are the key components of our corporate culture. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to partner with the most highly regarded companies in the world, tackle complex issues, and contribute to projects that shape the future of digital transformation.

Your Impact:

This is a great opportunity for a fresh graduate candidate. As a Revenue Recognition Analyst, you’ll be part of a global finance team that plays a key role in how our company tracks and reports revenue. You’ll work with experienced finance professionals and cross-functional teams to support accurate revenue reporting, learn how to interpret financial contracts, and gain exposure to international accounting standards. Your work will help ensure our financial processes stay compliant, efficient, and transparent. #LI-Hybrid

What the Role Offers:

  • A supportive environment perfect for someone starting out in finance or looking to build their accounting career
  • Hands-on experience with real-world finance operations, including compliance with ASC 606 and SOX
  • Opportunities to work with teams across the business—Finance, Legal, Sales, and Audit
  • Training and guidance from experienced team members to help you build technical knowledge and confidence
  • The chance to be part of a global company with clear pathways for learning and growth

What You Need to Succeed:

We’re looking for early-career professionals with a passion for finance and a strong willingness to learn. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and ready to grow, we’d love to hear from you.

Preferred skills and qualities:

  • First-level university degree (bachelor’s or master’s) in progress or completed, preferably with a focus in Business, Economics, or related fields ( ASE, University of Bucharest etc.), or equivalent experience.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (familiarity with US GAAP is a plus, but not required)
  • Interest in financial reporting, compliance, or audit
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus
  • Some prior internship or work experience in finance/accounting is helpful but not required—we value potential just as much

One Last Thing:

This is a great opportunity for someone who’s eager to start or build a finance career in a company that will support their growth. You’ll work alongside knowledgeable mentors, gain hands-on experience with global revenue processes, and have a front-row seat to how finance supports a growing business.
