We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP FICO Treasury Architect to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Finance and Treasury solutions.
As a key member of our enterprise IT team, you will play a pivotal role in aligning SAP functionality with our client's business objectives, with a particular focus on General Ledger, Financial Supply Chain, Treasury, and specialized SAP modules such as FPSL. Experience in the insurance or reinsurance domain is highly desirable, as is the ability to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, design, and configuration of SAP FICO, Treasury, and FPSL modules to support financial workflows and reporting standards
- Act as a solutions architect for SAP Treasury processes, including cash management, risk management, and liquidity planning
- Collaborate closely with finance, IT, and business teams to gather requirements, identify gaps, and propose best-practice solutions using SAP
- Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems
- Leverage in-depth experience with SAP General Ledger (GL) and Financial Accounting (FI) to optimize end-to-end financial processes
- Provide expertise in insurance and reinsurance-specific financial processes related to SAP FPSL and treasury functions
- Conduct workshops with business stakeholders, including on-site workshops, to gather insights, co-create solutions, and ensure that technical designs meet business goals
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across finance and treasury functions by leveraging SAP best practices
- Provide hands-on support during system implementations, migrations, testing, and troubleshooting
- Document configurations, workflows, test scripts, and design decisions
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with expertise in SAP GL, FICO, SAP FPSL, and Treasury modules
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the insurance and/or reinsurance industry is a strong advantage
- Hands-On Skills: Deep functional and technical knowledge of finance and treasury workflows, risk management, and financial reporting capabilities in SAP
- Workshops & Stakeholder Engagement: Strong facilitation skills with experience conducting workshops, aligning multi-stakeholder requirements, and driving decisions
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel periodically to the Customer for workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Integration Expertise: Experience integrating SAP systems with external banking services or financial systems is a plus
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Collaboration: Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and regions, managing competing priorities effectively
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
