ABOUT THE TEAM
The Financial Systems team leads and oversees the ongoing enhancement of Braze’s Financial platforms, data, security and operating procedures. At our core, we are system optimization people. While we are committed to providing outstanding end-user support, our primary objective is to find and fix inefficiencies, enabling functional teams to perform at levels they never thought possible. As a team, we care about end-user satisfaction, agile methodologies and system integrity. To the company, we provide administrative support, lead digital transformation and process improvement projects, and enable new reporting capabilities.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Financial Systems Administrator, your primary role will be to manage and enhance NetSuite (Accounting and Revenue Processes), Coupa, Kyriba and DealHub. Your focus will be on ensuring system integrity and prioritizing the needs of end-users, functional teams, and the business. You will collaborate with the Financial Systems Engineering Manager at Braze to deliver continuous improvements to our Financial Systems Ecosystem and associated processes.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Administer NetSuite, Kyriba, Coupa and DealHub, including configuration, testing, and maintenance to align with organizational needs.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, Revenue teams, Invoicing ,accounts receivable, procurement, and deal desk teams to identify and implement system enhancements and updates.
- Conduct rigorous testing in accordance with software development lifecycles and our change management policy.
- Develop and update system documentation, including architectural flowcharts, data dictionaries, dependency mappings, business requirements documents, functional design documents, user manuals, test scripts, and training materials.
- Develop and maintain system-related training materials and deliver training to end-users to promote adoption and sustained utilization.
- Assist in the development of reusable templates for the team.
- Provide audit support for SOX compliance, including report generation, documentation development, and completeness and accuracy checks.
- Stay abreast of new features and functionality in Netsuite Finance and Accounting, Sales Order , Invoicing and Coupa Expenses & P2P and provide recommendations for adoption.
WHO YOU ARE
- Strong system acumen with a keen interest in understanding how systems support the larger business.
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- At least one of the following: o 6+ years of system administration experience related to Quote to Cash, Record-to-Report, corporate Expenses, Procure to Pay.
- 5 years of experience administering Netsuite,Coupa, or DealHub CPQ.
- 4 years of experience implementing multiple instances of Netsuite, Coupa, DealHub CPQ.
- Deep understanding of Quote to Cash, Expense, Procure-to-Pay systems and ability to stay informed of technology changes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and responsibilities with competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality around sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing Netsuite Order to cash, Coupa Procure to Pay software or DealHub CPQ software
- Experience working with Netsuite and Salesforce.
- Experience with compliance frameworks, including SOX and SSAE16 SOC.
- Experience working at a public company.
- Experience with NetSuite and the Coupa/NetSuite Integration bundle.
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
- Strong Flow Diagram skills.
