We are looking for an experienced professional in payroll, labor law and personnel administration, with a solid understanding of the legal framework in Romania and a practical, solution-oriented approach. Our future colleague will work in a dynamic, international environment, where rigor, initiative and collaboration are essential.
We want a specialist with a proactive, constructive attitude, capable of operationally managing daily activities and actively contributing to the improvement of processes through a hands-on approach.
Previous experience in multinational organizations, especially in the financial-banking or IT industries, where process complexity and compliance are critical, is important.
What will you be doing in this role?
Main responsibilities:
Personnel administration from the perspective of payroll and legislation:
Ensures, independently and without supervision, the administrative management of the company's employees, as well as of other entities in the Group, according to the procedures in force.
- Manages the monthly payroll processes, ensuring the accuracy of calculations and legal compliance.
- Monitors and enforces labor, tax and social security regulations in all administrative processes.
- Ensures the compliance of HR processes with the Labor Code and applicable legal regulations.
- Monitors relevant legislative changes proposing actions to align internal policies.
- Manages the personnel documentation (contracts, addenda, terminations, etc.) and the relationship with the authorities (REVISAL, ITM, ANAF);
- Provides advisory support for internal teams on the correct interpretation of payroll and labor legislation / related procedures.
- Contributes to internal/external audits and recurring legal reports.
- Develops and updates internal policies, procedures and guidelines for employees and management.
- Delivers information and training sessions in the area of labor legislation and personnel administration.
- Checks and updates the Internal Regulations, collective agreements and other internal regulations in the HR area.
- Actively participates in digitalization projects and implementation/migration of HR and payroll information systems (e.g.: SAP, Oracle HCM, Charisma, etc.).
- Support in internal and external audit processes regarding HR activities.
Requirements:
General Profile:
Role with a strategic component, partnership with the business, initiative and influence in HR.
- Level of education: Completed higher education (preferably in the field of Economics, Law, Human Resources, Public Administration or related fields).
- Experience: 5-7 years experience in a similar position: in Payroll, Labor Law and Personnel Administration in a corporate context.
Previous experience in multinational companies, preferably in the financial-banking or IT field.
Technical, personal and social skills:
- Solid knowledge of the Labor Code, the Fiscal Code (payroll tax) and social contributions.
- Involvement in projects for the implementation or optimization of HR/payroll IT solutions.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proactive attitude, hands-on approach, solution-oriented and operational autonomy.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and experience with ERP/HRIS systems (e.g. SAP, Charisma).
- English language – advanced level (written and spoken).
- Does not depend on other people for training, guidance and coordination.
- Demonstrates experience and possesses knowledge in his/her field; can still reach a higher level of competence.
- Strategic thinking and understanding of the business.
- High-level analytical capacity for solving complex problems.
- Discretion, ethics and responsibility in the management of confidential data.
- Solution orientation, Flexibility and adaptability to legislative and organizational changes.
- Very good communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and on multiple projects.

Would be an advantage:
