NAPA Shipping Solutions is a leader in digitalization and optimization for the maritime industry. We are now looking for a dedicated Test Engineer to join our team.
The role and the team
As a Test Engineer at NAPA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products that support digitalization and operational optimization across the maritime industry. Your primary objective will be to deliver high-quality software through thorough manual and automated testing, ensuring it meets business goals, acceptance criteria, and user expectations in close collaboration with development teams and other stakeholders. This role directly contributes to the success of software used globally by maritime professionals.
You will join the Shipping Solutions development function, which creates tools for voyage planning, fleet optimization, and vessel performance. The team operates in an Agile environment, emphasizing close collaboration among developers, testers, and product owners.
This is a full-time, temporary position (fixed term of two years, as a maternity leave substitute). The preferred working arrangement is hybrid. While the role does not involve travel or physical demands, participation in local office events (in Galați, Romania) is expected when such events take place.

What we expect from you
We’re seeking an individual who is passionate about software quality and eager to contribute to a collaborative and purpose-driven team. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies
- Experience with manual testing and interest in or experience with automated test frameworks
- Basic knowledge of Agile tools
- Fluent English
