Promotes company products through clinical education of current and potential customers, implants and patient clinic coverage within a defined region. Supports team to achieve projected sales goals and increase sales revenues. Is eligible to train and coach other regional field clinical representatives in a lead capacity.
Key Responsibilities :
• Selling: Integrates into the patient care continuum. Collaborates with the Territory Manager on business strategy and tactics at the physician level. Demonstrates mastery of all sales tools and prorams available. Demonstrates a deep understanding of the competitions strengths and weaknesses. Drives HCE activities.
• Business Acumen: Through understanding of the reimbursement and prior authorization process. Applies HE&R resources to increase sales team success. Makes sound judgement regarding nature of meetings, venues and expenses in accordance with T&E policy and submits appropropraite documentation for reimbursement. Stays current with all internal training and complies with departmental administrative expectations. Protects company inventory, sensitive information and patient confidentiality. Reports patient/device issues immediately as per policy. Is resourcefull in solving clinician and patient inquires. Includes Territory Manager and Regional Business Manager in the decision making process as appropriate.
• People: Promotes a winning and collabrative spirit and attitude. Conducts oneself in a professional manner and in all interactions and maintains high standards of excellence. Integrates seamlessly with providers, clinicians, facilities and payers. Is sought out and recognized as a leader by colleagues, peers and clinicians. Manages a wide range of internal and external networks. Fosters collaboration and best practice sharing with peers at a regional level. Actively listens to others with empathy and respect. Accepts feedback and seeks opportunities for personal and professional devleopment. Builds rapport with clinicians, nurses, technicians and patients to influence sales and usage of BSN products. Develops key relationships through frequent and routine customer visits, product demonstrations, product in-services and procedural observations. Displays empathy and motivation in helping patients overcome obstacles and hardships.
• Technical: Attends unit implants and performs patient follow up to assure customer and patient success with the implanted product. Extensive working knowledge of BSN products and applications. Expert programming abilities; confident in all case types as it relates to lead replacement and programming. Able to program the most complicated patients within a region. Able to support cases while training other field sales representatives. Maintains composure in complex clinical situations. Responsible for monitoring, and improving clinical efficiencies and outcomes for territory and region. Knowledgeable on clinical papers, and unique BSN product applications. Facilitates company sponsored training and events. Provides technical feedback to Clinical, Marketing, Quality and R&D.
