Collaboration with Business Owners:a. Key contributor in the implementation and support of Information Systemb. Responsible for supporting staff by achieving an understanding of business workflows, requirements, priorities, regulatory and industry standards. Develops solutions to meet those requirements.c. Responsible for assessment and documentation of current state processes to understand potential workflow changes and learning needs.d. Organizes and conducts various meetingse. Highly collaborative within the team and with other work teams to ensure that all business requirements are incorporated into the design and delivery plan of all projects.f. Works with IT Leadership to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards for use and support of the system.2. System Support - Break Fix/Maintenance:a. Serves as a resource for others in support of assigned applications throughout all sites, troubleshooting problems, and providing technical expertise.b. Provides primary support for system break/fix and maintenance including documentation root cause, troubleshooting activities, testing, and resolution.c. Provides solution expertise in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and standards for use and support of the system as directed.d. Adheres to Change Management Policies.e. Updates system tables/files and configuration to ensure compliance with existing/future expectations.f. Maintains system documentation relevant to system design, specifications, functionality, process flows, etc. as required.g. Resolves issues/problems within stated guidelines.h. Works with vendor to identify system deficits and code change remediation3. System Support - Enhancements.a. Demonstrates expert knowledge of assigned applications keeping abreast of ongoing system needs including required code upgradesb. Continuously investigates and works with vendors to identify solutions to meet business challengesc. Strives to keep up to date on upcoming application improvementsd. Meets with appropriate user department(s) on a routine basis to review enhancements and process improvement opportunities.e. Assists in developing a work plans and timelines of implementations including recommendations for training needs.f. Works with the established governance groups to bring enhancement ideas forward and demonstrate solutions to workflow problems.g. Drives ongoing evaluation of new functionality and modules.4. System Support-Upgrades and Patches/Vendor Management:a. Demonstrates strong knowledge of the functionality, interfaces, and inter dependencies of all systems/applications in use and can anticipate and plan for actions to prevent system interruptions related to these activities.b. Assures seamless implementation of modifications to applications by demonstrating proficiency in the following areas:• Compliance with IT security standards including timely windows updates• Potential impact of network infrastructure• Interdependencies of a fully integrated ERP• Anticipates and proactively identifies scenarios that may be impacted and incorporates a testing strategy to mitigate riskc. Demonstrates the aptitude to evolve and incorporate new technologies and/or processes into the work environment.5.Reports:a. Assists with obtaining specifications for user report needs.b. Supports user's department's information needs by designing reports, coordinating data mining through other systems and/or working with vendors for system modifications:• Requirements• Developments• Testing6. Optimization:a. Performs ongoing assessment of system utilization, usability, and opportunities to improve efficiencies.b. Reviews content of new releases that include enhancement of functionality and potential customization needed to improve patient care outcomes, user satisfaction and cost savings.c. Researches functionality to meet present and future user requests/needs and assists with evaluating these as solutions.d. Actively assesses user experience and system performance.e. Participates in process reengineering through evaluation and documentation of current state.f. Utilizes stop start continue methodology to develop future state workflows with end users.g. Takes initiative in investigating solutions to meet user needs.7. Establish and maintain positive customer relationships.a. Establishes and maintains positive customer relationships and is able to effectively tailor communications and build relationships with peers, leadership and customers of varying skill and educational levels.b. Attentive to details and any follow-up required to provide consistently high-quality customer service.c. Responds to e-mail and voice-mail promptly.d. Possesses excellent phone manners and the ability to remain professional, calm, and friendly in all work-related situations.e. Does not react, but anticipates customer needs and is proactive in developing solutions and keeping end users informed11. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.Education and Experience Requirements:• A minimum of 3 years recent experience in VMware Horizon environment with a total 5 years IT overall experience.• Bachelor's degree in health related field or Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Industrial Technology, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution is required or equivalent work experience.
