How did the interview go?

The interview was certainly an experience. For a role where strong English communication is apparently important, it was quite ironic to find myself speaking more confidently and accurately than both the recruiter and the manager conducting the interview. But the real highlight came afterward: despite investing my time and money to attend, I received absolutely no follow-up, no feedback, and not even a basic rejection email. I completely understand not being selected, but apparently communicating that decision is beyond their capabilities...perhaps the English wasn’t the only thing missing.

Interview questions and tests

The interview questions and overall assessment process were also quite unusual. Rather than focusing primarily on my skills, experience, or suitability for the position, a significant part of the conversation seemed to revolve around my personal life and circumstances, which felt unnecessarily intrusive and irrelevant to the role. I left the interview wondering whether I had applied for a job or accidentally signed up for a personal interview.
