This was a multistep interview:
- initial discussion with the local manager: this was a normal "discovery call" for knowing each other
- the second step was a SQL/Database test on HackerRank (80 mins long)
- the final step was the actual interview, around 2 hours long, with 4 people from main headquarter in US. This was a complex one, with questions about code improvement, architectural thinking and solutions presenting to various data platform scenarios, management and leadership questions, A Google a Day test, and the regular technical interview questions. The interviewers had a positive attitude, not being pushy or seeking failure.
Overall it was a complex process, one of the most difficult interviews I had.
