What will you be doing as an Automation Engineer – Lehliu Plant
The core focus of this role is to maintain electrical installations and equipment and keep the instrumentation list in production facilities up to date.
This should be completed through the following activities:
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operation and maintenance of electrical installations and equipment (scheduling monthly and annual repairs, spare parts requirements, various materials requirements, external service contracts);
- Collaboration with Maintenance Department to ensure compliance with work planning and execution;
- Participating in designing and programming of new automation processes, simulation, as well as testing of these processes or equipment to ensure functionality according to requirements;
- Collecting and preparing updated information about the existing control system, including software and hardware specifications;
- Maintain and calibrate instrumentation and control devices, such as sensors, actuators, and flow meters;
- Ensuring the proper functioning of filed devices, instrumentation systems, communication networks, and interfaces;
- Monitoring the execution plan for instrumentation and automation repairs;
- Identifing, propose solutions in the field of automation, networks and instrumentation to improve the operation;
- Performing any other tasks, within the limits of professional and activity competences, requested by the hierarchical superior.
What you can bring to the role:
- Education (University or College) degree, preferably with a focus on electrical, automation, or electrical engineering, is required
- 2-3 years related experience in a similar position in FMCG industry
- Strong communication skills
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal
- Category B licence
