Our Engineering Graduate Programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and meaningful career in software engineering, cloud engineering or DevOps within a global market‑leading organisation.
To be eligible you must be a final‑year undergraduate or Master’s student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related STEM discipline, and have completed all the requirements of your course before August/September 2026, or be a recent graduate from the class of 2025.
For this role, we are looking for graduates interested in pursuing a career across one of the following areas:
- Backend Engineering (Python, Java, C#, .NET, Node.js)
- Full‑Stack Development (React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript + backend languages)
- Cloud Engineering (Azure, AWS – compute, containers, serverless, cloud architecture)
- DevOps & Automation (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform)
You will work on engineering solutions supporting LSEG’s critical systems, platforms and applications used across global financial markets.
We will also support you in exploring different engineering areas by connecting you with mentors, teams and technical communities across LSEG to help you shape your long‑term engineering path.

Our graduates join us on a permanent basis, and from day one you will be aligned to an engineering team, giving you a secure framework in which to grow and develop. During recruitment, we will explore your skills and interests to ensure you are placed in the right engineering vertical.
What You Will Do
As an Engineering Graduate, you will contribute to designing, building and supporting high‑performance systems, applications and services. Depending on your placement, you may:
Software / Backend Engineering
- Build backend services using Python, Java, C#, .NET or Node.js
- Contribute to API development, microservices and distributed systems
- Apply clean code principles, testing strategies and best engineering practices
- Solve performance, reliability and scalability challenges
Full‑Stack Engineering
- Develop web applications using React, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript
- Build backend logic and integrate UI components with APIs
- Apply UX principles, secure coding and quality engineering
Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Design and deploy cloud services on Azure or AWS
- Work with containers (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud automation tools
- Support cloud migration, architecture and optimisation initiatives
DevOps & Automation
- Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
- Automate testing, environments, monitoring and deployments
- Contribute to engineering excellence, reliability and observability projects
What We Are Looking For
We are passionate about recruiting people who want to pursue a career in technology and engineering — demonstrated through their studies, personal projects, internships, or extracurriculars.
You will stand out if you demonstrate:
• Interest or experience with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Node.js)
• Familiarity with cloud concepts (Azure or AWS) or engineering tooling
• A genuine passion for software development, automation, systems design or cloud engineering
• Curiosity about financial markets and how technology powers global trading infrastructure
• Strategic problem‑solving skills and the ability to connect the dots
• Resilience, focus and flexibility in a fast‑paced engineering environment
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Eligibility to work in Romania without restrictions
