The ICT Project Manager – Supply Chain & Logistics will join the central Group ICT organization and play a key role in a multi-year Digital Transformation Program focused on designing, implementing, and rolling out the new Digital Logistics Program across the organization.
The role is part of the ICT Solutions organization, focused on Industrial & Operations Technologies, and requires a strong combination of technical expertise and understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics business processes. The successful candidate will lead complex ICT initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, ICT teams, and external partners.
Education & Experience
- University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields connected to Logistics or Supply Chain
- Minimum 3 years of experience as ICT Project Manager within multinational environments
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain and Logistics processes, including:
- Transportation management
- Warehousing operations
- Planning and inventory management
- Experience with Lean methodologies is considered an advantage
Technical Skills
- Solid experience implementing or supporting Logistics and Warehouse Management Systems, such as:
- SAP EWM / SAP TM
- Manhattan WMS
- Blue Yonder
- Similar supply chain applications
- Familiarity with:
- Telecommunications networks and infrastructure services
- Cybersecurity concepts
- SAP integration and logistics modules
Soft Skills & Certifications
- Pragmatic and entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and leadership capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change and drive project execution
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- PMI and/or PRINCE2 certification is considered a plus
Languages & Mobility
- Fluent English (mandatory)
- Good command of Italian
- Availability to travel, depending on project needs
Project Leadership & Delivery
- Act as ICT Project Leader for assigned initiatives in the Supply Chain & Logistics domain, including:
- Standardization of Supply Chain & Logistics applications and processes
- Implementation and rollout of the Digital Logistics program
- Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, implementation, deployment, and stabilization
- Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, including internal resources and external suppliers
- Monitor and control project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and Change Requests (CRs)
Demand & Stakeholder Management
- Support ICT Managers in managing and prioritizing ICT demand coming from Supply Chain and Logistics functions
- Collaborate with:
- Business Process Owners
- Business Project Managers
- Key and End Users
- Central ICT and HQ teams
- Translate business requirements into effective ICT solutions and assess implementation alternatives
Technology & Service Oversight
- Oversee and coordinate ICT Specialists’ activities within Supply Chain & Logistics domain
- Ensure service availability, performance, and reliability of logistics applications in collaboration with:
- Help Desk teams
- Architecture teams (Infrastructure and TLC)
- External technology providers
Ensure compliance with ICT governance, security, and architecture standards
