Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain the PKI infrastructure (CA, RA, OCSP, CRL, TSA, HSM).
- Manage the lifecycle of digital certificates (issuance, renewal, revocation).
- Configure and monitor security policies related to digital certificates and cryptographic modules.
- Implement and maintain audit, logging, and monitoring procedures for PKI systems.
- Collaborate with IT security teams to integrate PKI services into internal applications and systems.
- Contribute to the development and update of Certification Policies (CP) and Certification Practice Statements (CPS).
- Administer cryptographic hardware devices (HSMs), including key and token management.
- Investigate security incidents related to certification and authentication.
- Draft technical documentation and user guides for PKI systems.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (eIDAS, ETSI, ISO 27001, national legislation on electronic signatures).
- Participate in projects focused on security infrastructure development and digital transformation.
Requirements
- Education: Technical university degree (e.g., Automation and Computers, Systems Engineering, etc.).
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in PKI system administration.
- Familiarity with cryptographic technologies (RSA, ECC, X.509, SHA, etc.).
- Experience with HSMs (e.g., Thales, SafeNet, Utimaco).
- Proficiency with Windows Server / Linux platforms and Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS).
- Knowledge of IT/PKI best practices and compliance standards – ISO 27001, eIDAS, ETSI, Common Criteria.
