We are seeking a Senior Data Modeler to join our team and lead data modeling initiatives.
You will play a key role in shaping our data architecture, ensuring alignment with industry standards and client requirements. This position involves working closely with clients to develop and maintain effective data models that support business objectives. Responsibilities
- Drive data modeling efforts and contribute to the design and development of data architecture
- Develop and update conceptual, logical, and physical data models according to client guidelines
- Ensure compliance of data models with industry standards and best practices
- Maintain metadata within the enterprise data catalog system
- Evaluate front-end mock-ups against existing data sources and recommend data pre-processing and storage solutions
- Review and interpret project documentation to provide detailed functional requirements
- Establish data masking and unmasking policies and rules
- Improve processes for data quality verification
- Lead meetings and conference calls with clients and senior client stakeholders
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients to achieve project goals
- Advise on best practices in database design to optimize performance and reduce downtime
Requirements
- Extensive experience in SQL for data extraction and data processing
- Advanced skills in database modeling with deep understanding of data structures
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL including its specific features
- Proven ability to design data architectures aligned with business needs
- Experience collaborating directly with clients and managing client relationships
- Familiarity with data cataloging and metadata management tools
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal
