We are seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer to lead the modernization of a complex enterprise reinsurance management solution, focusing on migrating the frontend from AngularJS to React.
This role offers the opportunity to drive technical transformation, create reusable components and patterns, and leverage GenAI tools to accelerate development.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the reinsurance management solution and respond to ad-hoc requests
- Lead the migration of AngularJS frontend applications to modern React
- Successfully migrate presentation layer components from AngularJS to React while maintaining business continuity
- Create reusable React components and patterns for the new presentation layer
- Work with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) architecture across multiple bounded contexts (optional)
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET MVC/Web API (optional)
- Utilize GenAI tools to accelerate development of boilerplate and repetitive code
- Accelerate migration of AngularJS to React using GenAI tools such as GHCP
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in full stack development using .NET framework (4.8), C#, Entity Framework, MS SQL Server
- Backend development in .NET ecosystem and ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- Skills in Entity Framework 6 and Entity Framework Core
- Expertise in React (latest versions, hooks, context, modern patterns)
- Strong AngularJS 1.82 experience to understand and migrate existing codebase
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
- Competency in RESTful API integration and responsive design with CSS frameworks
- Familiarity with build tools such as Webpack or Vite for React
- Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures)
- Understanding of SOLID principles and clean architecture patterns
- Upper-intermediate proficiency in English (B2+)
Nice to have
- Background in the insurance or reinsurance domain
- Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Showcase of AngularJS to React modernization projects
