We are seeking a Senior JavaScript Full-Stack Developer to join our globally distributed engineering team working on a foundation platform built on AWS public cloud. You will take a central role in developing backend functionality and enhancing system components using modern technologies like Angular, Node.js, AWS Lambda, and Docker. Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and evaluate solutions against engineering, business, and strategic criteria
- Resolve barriers to business deliveries and implement iterative solutions
- Design solutions using common design patterns and appropriate tools
- Perform peer reviews to ensure designs are fit for purpose, extensible, and reusable
- Build secure and controlled solutions aligned to best practices
- Develop backend functionality for the platform using Node.js and AWS Lambda
- Integrate RESTful APIs with Angular-based frontends
- Enhance and maintain SQL-based data storage solutions
- Collaborate with solution architects, UX designers, DevOps, and QA
- Participate in sprint planning, task breakdown, and estimation
- Ensure compliance with SDLC methodologies and agile practices
- Implement automated tests and maintain high code quality
- Engage in frequent stakeholder reviews to ensure delivery meets expectations
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a JavaScript Full-Stack Developer
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular
- Good knowledge of Node.js
- Experience with AWS services, including AWS Lambda
- Experience in SQL Server or equivalent SQL skills
- Expert knowledge in test-driven development, agile methodologies, and clean code practices
- Proficient configuration skills for CI software supporting automated testing and deployment
- Good understanding of financial concepts
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and full SDLC processes
- Extensive use of Jira, Scrum, and Kanban in Agile environments
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to contribute to the design of scalable solutions
- Active participation in planning sessions and accurate task estimation
- English language proficiency: B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
