What will you be doing as a Senior Manager Grains Export
The core focus of this role is to manage and coordinate the grains trading from Romania in strict coordination with the hub and focusing on maximizing the margins and leverage the country existing market opportunities.
This should be completed through the following activities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage in coordination with the origination and supply chain the grains trading from Romania;
- Responsible for risk management in coordination with the team at the headquarter;
- Collect and analyze key market data, including supply and demand;
- Provide regular market updates and insights to the Commercial team to inform pricing strategies, procurement plans, and overall market approach;
- Focus on increasing the market share for the products he is coordinating;
- Manage the relationship with the export elevators and maximize the volumes and margins, managing the throughput agreements on grains, and provide the Hub team with information and trading opportunities from the Romanian market;
What you can bring to the role:
- Minimum 7-8 years of origination / trading / distribution in agribusiness; 2+ years of experience in a management position;
- University degree in Finance / Agriculture or related field;
- Sales techniques knowledge, consultative sales and key account management;
- Specific market understanding and products knowledge: quality parameters, usage etc.;
- Risk management knowledge, knowledge on risk concepts and measures;
- Advanced English language skills;
- Demonstrating experience driving and setting a commercial strategy.
- Excellent leadership skills, strong personal and professional credibility, integrity and ethics.
