YOUR IMPACT
As part of our ITOM unit, you will contribute to developing OpenText software products such as our Server Automation (SA) product, which provides lifecycle management for enterprise servers and applications. Your expertise in Java or Python will help shape new features, working in an agile environment, collaborating with other teams like Product Management, QA Engineers and Technical Support to deliver innovative solutions that drive digital transformation for enterprise customers.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS
- You will be responsible for the development process end-to-end, from designing, implementing, unit testing, maintaining and documenting new features for our SA product
- Investigating and resolving technical issues, performance bottlenecks and production incidents
- Acting as a mentor to junior developers and sharing knowledge on coding, code reviewing, testing and debugging practices
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- University degree in an IT-related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software development based on Java or Python
- Familiarity with OOP design and patterns, build processes, source control management, release & change management
- Willingness to learn about advanced system architectures and automation technologies
- Beneficial would be experience in some of the following technologies: C++, Internet protocols and networking, Unix based OSs, application servers (e.g. WebLogic, JBoss, Tomcat), SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL
