Senior Analyst Quality Assurance
Role Purpose
Provides quality control tests and analysis of outcomes in a software development life cycle to ensure technology solutions meet or exceed business and customer needs.
Role Responsibilities
Supports a wide range of quality control planning and execution activities in alignment with the organization's standards and strategy to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified business and customer needs.
Gathers testing requirements by evaluating the product requirement (functional / non-functional) and raise clarifications with product owners, business analysts and customers.
Develops, executes and maintains test scripts/cases autonomously – manual, automation, performance, and supporting analysis. Assigns required tests to Associates.
Ensures test traceability and reporting on testing progress and activities.
Recommends and supports the implementation of improvements to quality control frameworks, processes and best practices.
Builds trusting relationships with team and colleagues, collaborating closely with the team.
Communicates clearly with team and keeps clear lines of communication open to ensure full understanding of tasks, asking questions where needed.
Minimum Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in the software industry, including hands-on work with software quality frameworks using Java or Python.
ISTQB Core Foundation Certified or equivalent
Exhibits good knowledge in software quality assurance processes and
methodologies
Exhibits good experience in manual, test automation or performance testing
Exhibits good experience in the software development life cycle and one
programming language (JAVA or Python), preferably in multi-tiered applications.

Develops, tests and maintains software applications and related programs and procedures; demonstrates creativity and innovation using available software development tools and following design requirements.

In depth technical expertise, knowledge of technologies and design, development and implementation of technologies.
Agile delivery
Uses approaches to software development under which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organising and cross-functional teams and their end user(s).
Problem solving
Defines a problem, generates solutions, and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem.
Communication
Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex / technical information in a concise format that is audience appropriate.
Documentation
Creates and maintains documentation to describe the system and its parts, including requirements documents, design decisions, architecture descriptions, program source code and support documentation.
