We are looking for a Senior Virtual Systems Engineer to oversee the management and optimization of our Windows-based infrastructure, with a focus on Microsoft InTune and endpoint management. This pivotal role ensures system reliability, security, and compliance across enterprise environments while supporting hybrid environments and collaborating with virtual teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize Wintel infrastructure to ensure secure and efficient endpoint management (laptops, desktops, etc.)
- Configure and manage Microsoft InTune for device management
- Administer Windows Server and Client environments, including Active Directory, EntraID, and Group Policy Objects (GPO)
- Manage SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software deployment and updates
- Support hybrid environments, including Azure AD integration
- Troubleshoot Windows performance and security issues
- Collaborate with team members and virtual teams to deliver solutions
- Monitor and enhance system reliability and compliance across all endpoints
- Coordinate patch management processes to maintain system integrity
- Provide technical input to enhance IT operational processes
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows Server Administration
- Expertise in Microsoft InTune configuration and management
- Background in Active Directory, EntraID, and GPO administration
- Skills in Windows Server and Client administration
- Competency in SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) for software distribution
- Understanding of hybrid environments, including Azure AD integration
- Familiarity with troubleshooting Windows performance and security issues
- Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
- Capability to manage priorities effectively in dynamic environments
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
Nice to have
- Experience working in medium/large international organizations
- Familiarity with virtual team collaboration and processes
- Understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes and tools
- Showcase of PowerShell scripting for automation tasks
- Background in patch management strategies
- Familiarity with AIRwatch for device management and Android in enterprise setups
