We are seeking a Senior/Tech Lead Oracle PL/SQL Engineer to oversee and grow the Oracle development team at the AD/01 location.
This position involves leading technical efforts, fostering collaboration between local and remote teams, and ensuring delivery excellence in a dynamic DevOps environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the Oracle PL/SQL development team, transferring technical expertise to team members
- Manage the Oracle development capability while driving quality outcomes from the nearshore hub
- Collaborate closely with client stakeholders across various workstreams as part of a DevOps approach
- Participate in planning, estimation, risk assessments, and progress tracking activities
- Facilitate knowledge building within the hub, ensuring adherence to best practices
- Join the 24/7 operations support (standby/on-call rotation every six weeks)
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL in large database environments
- Strong knowledge of SQL*Plus, TOAD, or SQL Developer tools
- Familiarity with Oracle Forms (11g) and their usage
- Good knowledge of Git/GitHub for version control
- Demonstrated experience in working within Scrum or Agile teams
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Proactive and collaborative team player with strong accountability
Nice to have
- OutSystems experience
- Java or Kotlin development background
- Kafka expertise
- Knowledge of SHELL scripting, Linux, and Oracle Translation Hub
- Insights into retail and logistics processes
