Job description

Join our team as a System Administrator – Device Management

Core Responsibilities:

Ticket handling:

  • Independent acceptance and processing of tickets
  • Communication with customer and internal teams/ colleagues
  • Pay attention to the Service Level Agreement and criticality and ensure that these adhered to
  • Troubleshooting and handling requests
  • Active enquiry when support and help is needed

Maintenance and support:

  • Checking and ensure that all systems and environments are up and running
  • Proactive communication within the team in case of incidents, errors, failure etc.
  • Find solutions to restore the function/ service

Project:

  • Participating on device management projects with a short and medium term
  • Creativity in fulfilling customer requirements while complying with standards and best practices
  • Adherence to deadlines and active communication in the event of possible delays
  • Participate on meetings with customers, vendors or project managers
  • Explaining technically complex topics simply

Researching:

  • Independent search for solutions
  • Check which changes and innovations Microsoft is planning and implementing in the area of devices/endpoints

Documentation:

  • Record and document results
  • Recording opportunities and decision proposals

What skills we look for: 

  • Microsoft Intune/ Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Cloud administration of Windows workstation systems
  • Administration of Microsoft Windows operating system (e.g. Windows 11)
  • Good understanding of Microsoft technologies related to the workplace (Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Defender etc.)
  • PowerShell skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting on Windows devices (e.g. through 2nd and 3rd level support)
  • Basic understanding of the relationships and processes in the Microsoft cloud environment in the context of the devices/ endpoints
  • Several years of professional experience in device management/ Microsoft endpoint management and Microsoft cloud environment.

  • ITIL checked (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)

  • Excellent English language skills are required, and German is a significant plus.
