Our Technical Business Analyst Graduate Programme provides the ideal springboard for an exciting and meaningful career within the LSEG Markets Division, where you will work at the heart of our trading, pricing, and market infrastructure ecosystem.
To be eligible, you must be a final-year undergraduate or Master’s student in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline, and have completed all the requirements of your course before August/September 2026, or be a fresh graduate from the class of 2025.
For this role, we are looking for someone interested in applying a combination of Business Analysis and Technical/Data skills to contribute to projects across the Markets division. You will work closely with product, technology, and market specialists to translate business needs into data-driven insights and system requirements.
We will also support you in exploring different areas of the Markets division by connecting you with teams across LSEG so you can identify where your interests fit best.
Our Technical Business Analyst Graduate Programme is a 12‑month development opportunity designed for individuals who want to combine data, logic, and business understanding to influence the future of financial market operations.

What You Will Do
As a Technical Business Analyst, you will work at the intersection of business, data, and technology. You may:
- Analyse datasets using SQL and Python to extract insights and identify patterns
- Support requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation across Markets projects
- Collaborate with technology teams to translate business needs into functional specifications
- Assist in system analysis, workflow optimisation, and market process improvements
- Develop dashboards, reports, and data models to support decision-making
- Contribute to market operations, pricing initiatives, and strategic transformation projects
Bonus: Knowledge of Java is considered a "good to have" for some markets engineering workflows, but not essential.

We are open to candidates from a variety of STEM, Economics, and quantitative business backgrounds who can demonstrate an interest in business analysis and data-driven problem solving.
