What We’re Looking For
We’re searching for an Accountant with strong English and IT skills, who is experienced in accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics (or equivalent platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, etc.). This role involves managing financial records, supporting the company’s financial operations, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
We are in the process of coming onto the Romanian market.
Your Role
Maintain and manage company accounting records (invoices, payroll, expenses, etc.)
Use Microsoft Dynamics or other accounting platforms for financial reporting and analysis
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
Prepare and submit tax filings, financial statements, and internal reports
Support the automation and optimization of financial processes using IT tools
Collaborate with management on financial planning and strategy
Communicate fluently in English with internal teams (email, video calls, written reports)
Ensure compliance with Romanian and international accounting standards (where applicable)
Provide IT-related support for basic tools like Outlook and Teams (admin account)
Qualifications
Experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics or similar accounting software
Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting standards
English proficiency: C1 level or higher (spoken and written)
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must), Outlook, Teams etc.
Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
Nice to Have
Experience with digital tools for workflow automation (e.g., Power BI, Power Automate, Zapier)
Knowledge of Romanian and EU tax laws and compliance requirements
Previous experience supporting an international company
