The Opportunity

We offer a one-year, full-time, and paid internship, giving you time to dive into the OpenText culture and vision, to learn from our senior colleagues, to have fun and to discover our self-managed communities of IT experts.

 

Your Impact

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn how to use our internal project management systems (Agile/Scrum methodologies) and to gain real experience as a programmer in a global company focused on quality, innovative vision, and always stay up to date with the latest industry requirements.

You will learn to design, discuss, clarify, and implement project requirements and to develop your programming skills.

 

What the role offers

As a DevOps Engineering Intern at OpenText, you will contribute to the CI/CD development of the OpenText™ Core Software Delivery Platform, which is a cloud-based, AI-driven, end-to-end solution that enables IT and software development organizations to visualize, track and manage value delivery across the digital product lifecycle. This role offers hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our DevOps and development teams to support automation, infrastructure management, and deployment processes across multiple environments.

 

What you need to succeed

We want to retain and build on our collaborative and engaging culture, so we need people to help us achieve this. Thus, we are expecting from you:

 

  • Undergoing or having graduated a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • Analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset;
  • Effective written and oral communication skills in English;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, Pipelines)
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows
  • Scripting and coding skills in Shell, Python, Groovy and Java

 

Additional skills are a plus:

 

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/Helm)
