Dual University Program in Logistics: a mix of academic studies and real on-the-job experience

What is the Dual University Program in Logistics? Just as the name suggests: an optimal mix of theory and real practice that will give you a fast start in your career. Starting in the 2025–2026 academic year, Kaufland Romania and the “1 Decembrie 1918” University in Alba Iulia will launch this project, which is the FIRST dual university program in logistics in Romania. You should know that this format is inspired by European models and is specially designed for young people who want a strong career start.

Program structure:

- 60% theory: courses at “1 Decembrie 1918” University, Alba Iulia

- 40% real practice: at Kaufland Logistics Center, Turda

So, the equation is simple: 60% theory + 40% practice = 100% future opportunities for you.

As a student, you will learn essential logistics concepts directly from university professors and then apply them in Kaufland’s modern and dynamic warehouse. You will work under the guidance of experienced mentors, gaining knowledge you cannot get from books alone.
