What position do you currently hold at Dr. Max Romania?
I am the Chief Human Resources Officer at Dr. Max Romania and, together with the Human Resources team, I ensure that our HR strategy supports Dr. Max Romania’s vision: to be the first choice as a result of the exceptional services provided by trusted professionals.
For us, every colleague matters, and every role contributes to the promise of being more than just a pharmaceutical company – a true partner in health, beauty, and well-being.
What attracts you most to the organizational culture of the company you represent?
What attracts me most to Dr. Max Romania’s organizational culture is the genuine care for people, combined with the professionalism of colleagues. Our values, Customer Centricity, Ambition, Respect, and Engagement, are not just statements but principles we live by every day. The balance between performance and care for people ensures an environment where colleagues are encouraged to learn, grow professionally, and contribute at their full potential, knowing that their work matters.
If you could magically change something in the organization, what would it be and why?
I would accelerate even more our capacity to adapt to change. We live in a world where technology and people’s expectations evolve rapidly, and greater agility would help us harness these transformations. We are already investing in digitalization and new ways of working to provide better and better experiences for colleagues, customers, and patients.
In your opinion, how does an HR specialist contribute to an employee experience that retains talent in the company?
As a Human Resources Department, we contribute to strengthening the employee experience through active listening, continuous development, and recognition. At Dr. Max Romania, this is reflected in learning programs developed under the umbrella of the Dr. Max Academy, as well as in an organizational framework where feedback is encouraged and turned into concrete actions.
What are the company’s future plans? How do you intend to attract talent from the market in the coming years?
To stay close to people, our future plans focus on constant investment in digitalization, the development of omnichannel platforms, and expanding the network, including in logistics. For talent attraction, we rely on promoting impactful projects, clear career development paths, and internal mobility, so that every colleague can build a career aligned with their aspirations.
An important aspect for us is supporting young people at the beginning of their journey: we encourage them to pursue specialized studies, get involved in educational projects, and adapt the employer experience to the expectations and values of new generations. In this way, we lay the foundation for a strong professional community, ready for the future.
How do you handle it when a colleague faces a dilemma or challenge in their daily work?
The first step is mutual support. We actively listen, clarify the situation, and look for solutions together, either through quick brainstorming or by involving the right expertise. No problem remains on one person’s shoulders, because at Dr. Max Romania we believe we succeed best when we collaborate.

Genuine care for people, team spirit, dedication to everything we do, and the courage to innovate. If I had to choose just one, it would be care – because it’s present in every interaction and creates an environment where we come to work with pleasure. It gives meaning to all the other values and defines us as a team.
Do you think salary is still the main factor in choosing a job? What is your company’s strategy for salary increases in 2025?
Salary remains an important criterion, but today’s candidates want more: a complete package that also includes development opportunities, work-life balance, predictability, and a clear purpose. Even though we are going through a period full of uncertainties, at Dr. Max Romania we have continued to invest in people, offering competitive salary packages aligned with the market, individual performance, and the organization’s results.
How is transparency promoted in your company?
At Dr. Max Romania, transparency is fostered through open communication. We organize town halls and Q&A sessions with management, provide access to information about company objectives and results, and use internal channels such as newsletters and dedicated platforms to keep colleagues updated on projects and more. We believe trust is built through transparency, which is the foundation of a healthy organizational culture.
What matters most to your team when recruiting a candidate? What attributes do you value most in a new hire?
For our team, the most important qualities are attitude and willingness to learn. Technical skills can be developed over time, but curiosity, integrity, dedication, and team spirit are essential.
