Provident: The Company Where People Truly Grow #ForReal
At Provident, we don’t just talk about professional development, we make it happen #ForReal. Go4Talent is our internal growth program, built on the idea that every colleague has the potential to become tomorrow’s leader, if given the right space and support. And it’s not just a nicely wrapped promise. More than 70% of Provident’s managers have grown from within, and Go4Talent proudly carries on that tradition.
In its most recent edition, 26 colleagues from all business areas joined the program, and 90% of them were promoted during or right after completion. That’s what real results look like, for people, for teams, and for the organization.
Behind the numbers are stories of growth, courage, and confidence. In this article, we’d like to introduce you to a few of the colleagues who went through Go4Talent and who are growing #ForReal, every single day.
1. What motivated you to join Go4Talent?
Ramona Druga: I was encouraged by my manager at the time. I wanted to become better at what I do, to discover my potential, and to connect with other colleagues from across the country, perhaps with different perspectives.
Alexandru Manea: I chose to join because I felt the need to grow both professionally and personally. I was motivated by the idea that the program combines hands-on learning with theoretical experience.
Mădălin Gheorghe: I wanted to break the routine and see what I could achieve outside my comfort zone. And honestly, I liked the idea of working on something with real impact.
Andreea Panait: Go4Talent came as a result of my professional achievements. When the program was first launched, I didn’t sign up, I didn’t come through “the main door.” Rather, because of my results, the program “chose” me.
Andreea Karda: I was motivated by the development sessions, the collaboration with colleagues I don’t work with daily, and the long-term connections that form between participants.
2. How did you feel throughout this experience?
Ramona Druga: I felt importan, that I play a meaningful role in the company, that there are many people who trust me, and that I can leave a positive mark here.
Alexandru Manea: It was an intense and challenging experience, but at the same time deeply motivating. I felt supported and encouraged to step out of my comfort zone.
Mădălin Gheorghe: Like a marathon with moments of inspiration along the way. It was intense, but full of experiences that kept me going.
Andreea Panait: The program helped me get to know people differently than I did before. I went through emotions and moments I had never expected, sometimes challenging, other times filled with joy and satisfaction.
Andreea Karda: During the program, I truly felt that I was growing, especially in managing my emotions and building self-confidence. It was a process of adaptation and development.
3. What impact did participating in Go4Talent have on you?
Ramona Druga: After completing Go4Talent, I gained more confidence in myself and more clarity about my professional direction. When she joined the program, Ramona had just been promoted to the role of Business Leader.
Alexandru Manea: The program helped me strengthen my confidence and clarify my development path, I’m now an FP&A Manager.
Mădălin Gheorghe: I now have more confidence and courage to get involved in larger projects, in my new role as European CSC Technology Manager. And yes, I take myself a bit more seriously now.
Andreea Panait: In my case, the program ended earlier because I was promoted to a new role at the head office, Incentives Business Partner. I developed my confidence, emotional management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively under pressure.
Andreea Karda: After Go4Talent, I stopped having prejudices and learned that the only person who can set limits for you is yourself. She is now leading an even larger team as a Business Leader.
4. The most unexpected lesson I learned was...
Alexandru Manea: …the power of storytelling.
Mădălin Gheorghe: …that it’s okay not to know everything.
Andreea Panait: …to be open to different perspectives.
Ramona Druga: …how valuable authentic collaboration really is.
Andreea Karda: …that the only person who can hold you back is yourself.
Talents aren’t found. They’re grown. #ForReal
Go4Talent is just one of the ways we help our colleagues discover their potential and turn it into real impact. Here at Provident, we believe people don’t have to be perfect, they just need to be authentic, courageous, and open to learning. Our culture is built on continuous development, and the fact that 1 in 4 colleagues is promoted each year proves that this isn’t just a slogan, it’s a way of being. For us, #ForReal means investing in people, giving them trust, and supporting them in their professional journey.
